Components

As described in its name, the dual dry clutch is actually two separate clutches with duplicates of most components. We'll go over the parts with a colour-coded diagram and explain what comes in the DDC kit. It's essential to know the DDCs components and how they work in order to work on them in real-world applications.

Real-world Applications

Valeo Dual Dry Clutch are now offered on many new models from a specific manufacturer. We will explain the brands, models, and engine configurations currently equipped with Valeo DDCs from the factory. We'll also give some advice on the installation and removal of DDCs. Discover the special tools needed for working with DDCs and where to find them.

Valeo Dual Dry Clutch and Clutch Parts

Valeo offers the Dual Dry Clutch for both OE manufacturers and as a kit. We'll provide the OE part number, which you can use in the Tech@ssist parts finder portal to find the specific part we demonstrate in this training. If you're looking for a different piece, you can also search for parts by model or VIN.


Valeo offers clutch replacement parts like discs, covers, and release bearings. Beyond replacement parts,Valeo also makes OE clutch systems for manufacturers and aftermarket clutch kits like the Kit4P solid flywheel conversion kit.
